Common peroneal nerve injury is a well-known problem, and most of the previous treatments cannot achieve satisfactory walking quality. Nerve repair surgery for common peroneal nerve injury should be performed as early as possible, and the effect of the surgery depends on the severity of the injury and the technical level of the repair. If the recovery effect of the nerve repair surgery is not good, then Professor Chang Li’s power reconstruction surgery will have a definite therapeutic effect. Drawing on the theories and methods of hand function adjustment, Prof. Li Chang deeply studied the complexity and special features of ankle power balance, overcame the limitations of previous ankle power adjustment, and created a new power adjustment scheme of tendon transposition after long-term surgical practice, which well solved the power imbalance caused by common peroneal nerve injury and achieved reliable treatment effect and satisfactory walking quality.
