Whether endometrial polyps need surgery or not needs to be analyzed according to the size of the polyp as well as the patient’s clinical symptoms and whether there is cancer. If the diameter of the polyp is less than 1 cm and the patient has no obvious clinical symptoms, it can be temporarily observed and may heal on its own, without the need for surgery for the time being. However, patients need to go to the hospital every 3 to 6 months or so for a follow-up examination to clarify the changes in the size of the polyp. If the diameter of the polyp is large, or if the polyp causes serious clinical symptoms, surgery is needed. If there is a high suspicion that the polyp has a tendency to become cancerous, it needs to be treated by surgery in a timely manner. Endometrial polyp patients do not have too much psychological burden, follow the doctor’s instructions for regular observation or active treatment, the possibility of cure is still very large. Keep a good mindset.
