Can endometrial polyps cause semi-monthly periods?

The term “vacation” generally refers to a woman’s menstrual cycle. Endometrial polyps may cause menstruation once every six months.
Endometrial polyps are growths that appear on the lining of the uterus due to overgrowth of the mesenchyme of the uterus caused by inflammation or high estrogen levels.
As endometrial polyps lead to overgrowth of the endometrium, or necrosis, detachment and bleeding of the polyps, coupled with the fact that there may be an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone levels in the body of a woman suffering from endometrial polyps, abnormal menstruation may occur, such as intermenstrual bleeding, excessive menstruation, and prolonged menstruation, and so on.
Therefore, endometrial polyps are likely to cause a woman to have her period once every half a month.
If a woman experiences menstruation once every half a month, it is recommended that she consult a doctor in a timely manner, complete the relevant examinations, clarify the cause of the disease under the guidance of a professional doctor, and target the treatment, so as not to make mistakes in her condition.
