With the joint efforts of several generations of dermatologists, the Department of Dermatology of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine has accumulated rich clinical experience in the combined treatment of skin and venereal diseases, and formed obvious advantages of dermatological treatment. The Department of Dermatology has been specializing in vitiligo treatment for more than 10 years, taking the lead in carrying out vitiligo autologous epidermal transplantation in East China, and carrying out vitiligo photochemotherapy and narrow-spectrum UVB phototherapy for vitiligo 10 years ago. We introduced and absorbed the advanced methods of vitiligo diagnosis and treatment nowadays, combined with the clinical experience of the department, explored and summarized a set of effective treatment methods combining Chinese and Western medicine, which improved the clinical cure rate of vitiligo. According to the patient’s location and different manifestations, vitiligo is divided into different clinical types, and Chinese herbal medicines are used to strengthen the spleen, tonify the kidneys, dispel dampness and heat, activate blood circulation and eliminate blood stasis, and with autologous epidermal transplantation and NB-UVB phototherapy, so that most patients have obtained satisfactory results. The “Chinese medicine + autologous epidermal transplantation combined with phototherapy for vitiligo” was awarded the New Technology Award of Jiangsu Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. According to the individual conditions of patients, we follow the principle of diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medicine, and adopt the methods of Chinese medicine internal medicine, Chinese medicine steam therapy, Chinese medicine bath and NB-UVB phototherapy to treat psoriasis. The above-mentioned methods are based on the preference of Chinese herbal medicine with less side effects as the main treatment, together with the modern advanced NB-UVB phototherapy. In this way, not only the clinical efficacy is obviously improved, but also the side effects caused by drugs are minimized. This is fully in line with the concept of “green treatment” for psoriasis today. On this basis, we have completed one scientific research project on psoriasis of the Provincial Science and Technology Department and one project of the Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the department’s “sequential therapy for psoriasis” has won the New Technology Award of the Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acne is an extremely common skin disease, and there are more than 20 kinds of acne-related skin diseases. The Department of Dermatology adopts Chinese herbal medicine as the main treatment method for acne. According to the different manifestations of patients, acne is divided into different types, such as lung heat, liver fire and phlegm-dampness, gastrointestinal damp-heat, heat coagulation and blood stagnation and phlegm obstruction, and so on, and is treated with “Clearing the lung and eliminating acne formula”, “Clearing the liver and eliminating acne formula”, “Clearing the stomach and eliminating acne formula”, etc. “The formula has been used internally, together with the Chinese herbal medicine Dermatitis No. 1 and red and blue light irradiation, and has cured a large number of patients. On this basis, we have completed the scientific research project on acne by the Provincial Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine and published the relevant papers in the Chinese Journal of Dermatology. The department’s “treatment of acne with traditional Chinese medicine + red and blue light irradiation” was awarded the New Technology Award by the Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The high incidence of sexually transmitted diseases is extremely harmful to individuals, families and society. Some sexually transmitted diseases are stubborn and difficult to treat. The Department of Dermatology and Venereology provides standardized treatment for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, genital herpes, condyloma acuminatum and other sexually transmitted diseases. In particular, the treatment of acromegaly using a combination of Chinese and Western medicine has achieved good results. On this basis, we have completed two scientific research projects on condyloma acuminata in the provincial science and technology department, and have published relevant papers in national academic journals. V. Laser cosmetology The introduction of the U.S. medical personnel “King’s style” beauty laser, the use of “perfect pulse” laser technology, the treatment of freckles, skin aging, facial red blood (capillary dilation), hormone-dependent dermatitis, rosacea, acne acne marks and other cosmetic damage We also perform photonic hair removal. In recent years, he has treated more than 700 patients with freckles with laser and achieved excellent clinical results and published relevant papers in national academic journals. Chinese medicine treatment for alopecia, flat warts, and cryotherapy for age spots are effective. The Department of Dermatology routinely carries out laser, freezing, microwave, ionization, herbal vapor therapy, herbal hydrotherapy, NB-UVB phototherapy, red and blue light, etc. to treat skin diseases and venereal diseases.
