Do you take roxithromycin for enteritis?

It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, so it can also be used to treat enteritis. Most cases of enteritis are caused by Gram-negative bacterial infections, but there may be other causes of enteritis. If the infection is caused by bacteria, it can be treated with oral antibiotics, such as cephalosporins, quinolones or, of course, roxithromycin. If there are other causes of enteritis, rosithromycin is not effective. Roxithromycin is recommended for adults, i.e. over 18 years of age, and should not be given to minors, adolescents or children because of the side effects.
