At present, liver disease is a common clinical disease, and cirrhosis is the end stage of development of various chronic liver diseases, of which alcoholic cirrhosis accounts for about 15% in China and is on the rise. In the near future it will exceed the cirrhosis caused by viral hepatitis. Experts analyze that the occurrence of alcoholic cirrhosis is related to the drinking time, drinking style, gender, genetic factors, nutritional status and whether hepatitis virus infection is combined with the drinker. The amount of alcohol consumed and the duration of alcohol abuse is one of the most harmful factors, a large amount of alcohol consumption is more harmful than a small amount of divided drinking, long-term drinking is more harmful than short-term drinking. Generally speaking, an average daily intake of 80 grams of ethanol for more than 10 years will develop alcoholic cirrhosis. For example, if you drink more than 50 degrees of liquor, drink 4 taels of liquor a day, you may get cirrhosis of the liver after 10 years. Normal adult drinking should be controlled: ethanol intake should be less than 40 grams/day for men and less than 20 grams/day for women. However, this safe dose is not safe, and the safe drinking threshold for women is only 1/3-1/2 of that for men, so women are more likely to develop alcoholic cirrhosis than men. In addition, long-term heavy alcohol consumption causes malnutrition, protein and vitamin deficiency, which accelerates the occurrence of cirrhosis. Therefore, we should develop a healthy and civilized lifestyle, do not drink alcohol, and try to drink low alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages.
