What are the early symptoms of cirrhosis of the liver

Early stage cirrhosis has no specific clinical symptoms and signs, no obvious abnormalities in liver function tests, and is in subclinical stage. However, some patients may have the following manifestations.
  1. Systemic symptoms: mainly weakness, easy fatigue and loss of physical strength. A few patients may have facial pigmentation.
  2. Chronic gastrointestinal symptoms: The main symptoms are loss of appetite, abdominal distension, constipation or diarrhea, and vague pain in the liver area, especially after exertion.
3.Signs: spider hemorrhoids are seen in a few patients, mild or moderate enlargement of the liver, mostly in patients with alcoholic hepatic sclerosis, usually without pressure pain, and normal or mildly enlarged spleen.
