Is foamy urine always proteinuria?

Not necessarily. A small amount of foam can sometimes occur during normal urination, and when urination is urgent, the speed of urination increases and can provoke a large amount of foam, but this foam lasts for a shorter period of time. If there is a large amount of foam during urination or a significant increase from before, it suggests that the body may be suffering from some kind of disease, such as diabetes, liver or kidney disease, or urinary tract infection, and you should visit a hospital to complete the appropriate tests.
