Is foamy urine a sign of prostatitis?

Patients with prostatitis may experience foamy urine, but having foamy urine is not always prostatitis.
If there is a combination of frequent urination, urgency, painful urination, poor urination, bifurcation of the urine line, dripping after urination, increased nighttime urination, milky discharge from the urethra after urination or during bowel movements, accompanied by pain in the perineum and suprapubic area, or even acute urinary retention, prostatitis should be considered a high possibility and a visit to the urology department is recommended.
