Milky white leukorrhea may be normal, but pathological conditions may also exist. When the leukorrhea appears milky white and mucus-like, without odor and without abnormal symptoms such as itching or pain in the vulva, it often suggests a normal phenomenon. Most women’s leukorrhea is white or slightly yellow, mucus-like, secreted in small amounts and usually not accompanied by an abnormal odor, but the amount and nature of the leukorrhea can vary with the different phases of the menstrual cycle. During ovulation, the amount of leukorrhea will increase, and its nature will be thin, lacrimal and odorless. After ovulation and before menstruation, due to hormonal influence, the leukorrhea will become sticky and may have a slight bloody smell. In addition, pregnant women may also experience an increase in leukorrhea due to changes in hormone levels in the body. All of these conditions are normal. If the leukorrhea is milky, accompanied by vaginal itching, burning pain, a distinct odor, such as fishy smell, rotten egg smell, etc., as well as not the normal mucus state, there are changes in the nature of the leukorrhea, such as mycosis fungoides, which can be milky, with a tofu-like or curd-like nature.
