What happened to canker sores?

Similar to modern medicine lung abscess, canker sore is a disease in which canker sores and abscesses are formed in the lungs. The main clinical features are fever, cough, chest pain, high sputum volume, foul odor, and even coughing up pus and blood. The more severe disease, with obvious symptoms of infection poisoning, is mainly related to the patient’s decreased immune function, as well as decreased airway defense function. There are also infections with more serious pathogenic bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia and Klebsiella pneumoniae pneumonia. There is also a subset of patients, related to blood-borne dissemination due to skin trauma, etc. Due to the significant inflammatory response of the organism, severe cases can lead to severe sepsis, multi-organ failure, and even death. However, due to the current level of medical care, the onset of canker sores is relatively rare in clinical practice.
