Objective
To observe the efficacy of dispelling dampness and detoxifying class combination in the treatment of anal eczema.
Methods
This disease was treated with 136 cases by oral administration of chemodamp and detoxification soup (Tu Fu Ling, Curcuma longa, Chuanxiong, Licorice). Results: The total effective rate was 98.5%.

Eczema is an inflammatory reflection of the skin with obvious tendency to exude caused by a variety of internal and external factors, the rash is diverse, the chronic phase is limited and infiltrated and hypertrophic, itchy and intense, easy to recur. The onset of anal eczema is limited to the anus, and a few can involve the nearby skin and perineum, which is unbearably itchy, often moist, with infiltrative hypertrophy of the skin and can be chapped. From March 2005 to May 2007, the author treated 136 cases of anal eczema with self-prepared dampness and detoxification soup, and achieved more satisfactory clinical results.
Clinical data
A total of 136 patients, all from our outpatient clinic and ward, including 64 males and 72 females; age 21-62 years old, average 42.5 years old; shortest duration 7 days, longest 11 years, average 6.7 months; 24 cases of acute eczema, 63 cases of subacute eczema, 49 cases of chronic eczema.
Diagnostic criteria
(1) Acute eczema: rapid onset, short duration, initial skin damage with erythema, papules, exudation, vesicles, water, crusting, flaking, etc., symptoms are basically one, intermittent or combined; mild itching, severe itching, intolerable, intermittent or paroxysmal episodes, increasing at night.
(2) Sub-acute eczema: most of the acute eczema migrated to, the condition is slower; blisters are not much, exudate less, still visible erythema, papules, scales, scabs, vesicles, etc.
(3) Chronic eczema: often due to acute eczema for a long time, or at the beginning of the performance of the chronic. Anal edge skin thickening and roughness, moss-like changes, weakening or loss of elasticity; brownish red or grayish white color, lesion boundaries are not clear, itching is intense; often recurrent, persistent.
Treatment method
The use of dampness and detoxification soup with the addition and subtraction of treatment. Prescription: Fu Ling 30g, Curcuma longa, Chuanxiong 10g each, Licorice 6g. 4g of Huang Lian, 12g of Honeysuckle for oozing; 10g of Ground Bark and 15g of Comfrey for dryness. 1 dose daily with water decoction of 200ml, divided into morning and evening, taken after meals. 7 days as a course of treatment.
Therapeutic efficacy criteria
Cured: the rash all disappeared, clinical symptoms disappeared, skin returned to normal; Effective: clinical symptoms and skin damage improved, rash disappeared more than 30%; Ineffective: rash disappeared less than 30%, clinical symptoms did not improve.
Treatment results
In this group of cases, 67 cases were cured, 35 cases were effective, 32 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 98.5%. The average duration of treatment for the above cases was 14d.
Discussion
Anal eczema belongs to the category of “dipping sores” and “rheumatic ulcers” in Chinese medicine. It is mostly caused by dysfunction of the internal organs, dampness and heat within the body, or by external evil, which fills the couples and obstructs the flow of qi and blood, resulting in immersion in the skin; it can also be caused by dampness and heat and blood in the camp, and blood heat generates wind, which overflows in the skin. The “Medical Zong Jin Jian Surgical Heart Method Essentials” recorded: “The initial start like corn, and itchy and painful, and lust into pieces, can be born anywhere. From the spleen and stomach dampness and heat, the external wind evil, phase fight into.” Clinically, itching, rash, water, erosion, swelling and pain of the perianal skin are seen. If the disease is prolonged, further depletion of blood and injury to fluid, the blood is prone to wind and dryness, and the skin loses its glory, resulting in thick, rough, scaly or cracked skin. Modern medicine believes that this disease is a non-transmissible metabolic disease, mostly due to local uncleanliness of the anus, or drinking disorder, or suffering from anal fistula, hemorrhoids, anal fissure, anal sinusitis, enteritis and pinworm anal disease secretions stimulation caused by this disease. As wind, damp heat is the main cause of this disease, damp heat and blood dryness is its main pathogenesis, the author used Fu Ling, Curcuma longa, Chuan Xiong, Huang Lian, Yin Hua, Di Bark, Comfrey, Licorice as the main formula.
