The average size of endometrial polyps

For the size of endometrial polyps, everyone is different, it may be 2-3 mm or 2-3 cm. If the polyps are small, they may fall off with the menstrual cycle. So if the endometrial polyp is found for the first time and the polyp is not large, only a few millimeters, you can review it regularly and wait for the next menstruation to come 5-7 days later to see if there is a polyp. However, if the endometrial polyp is larger than 1 cm, it usually does not fall off with the endometrial lining and may require hysteroscopic endometrial polyp electrosurgery. If the polyp causes incomplete menstruation and prolonged menstruation, hysteroscopy is also needed to remove the polyp and to remove the endometrium for pathological examination to exclude endometrial lesions.
