The generic name for afatinib is afatinib maleate tablets, the effect of taking half a tablet is not clear, normally you need to swallow the whole tablet with water. This drug can inhibit tyrosine kinase phosphorylation, thus inhibiting the growth of tumor cells and treating tumors. It is mainly used for metastatic or locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
