Diarrhea in the last few days

If the patient has diarrhea, ask the patient how many times a day the patient has diarrhea, if 2-3 times a day or more, it is diarrhea, and look at the nature of the stool, if it is watery diarrhea or unshaped paste-like stool, or even if the patient has indigestible food residue, it is diarrhea, as the people often say. The patient should also be asked whether there is fever, nausea, vomiting, pain in the upper abdomen, and whether there is a trigger for these conditions, such as eating unclean food or cold, or eating a stimulating diet, such as chili, too spicy, too hot, too oily food, etc. The above symptoms may occur. If the diarrhea is serious or even if there is blood in the stool, the patient must go to the hospital and have a routine stool test to see if there is any intestinal infection, and even if there is obvious bleeding in the stool, the patient should be warned to have a colonoscopy if necessary to further clarify the cause.
