Drug application for allergic pharyngitis

       Irritating dry cough with itching followed by cough was the main feature of allergic pharyngitis; 32% of patients with allergic pharyngitis; 12% with allergic rhinitis; and 12% with asthma; leukotriene receptor antagonists combined with antihistamines eliminated the overall symptoms of allergic pharyngitis, cough and itching symptoms, which had significantly improved at one week of treatment and still showed further relief at the second week of treatment.       Allergic pharyngitis is one of the important causes of clinical cough in patients with poor efficacy without the use of anti-allergic drugs, and leukotriene receptor antagonists combined with antihistamines eliminated the symptoms of allergic pharyngitis.
