Earache caused by herpes pharyngitis is mainly caused by dysfunction of the Eustachian tube, treatment requires active treatment of herpes pharyngitis, and symptomatic treatment with pain medication if necessary.
1. Treatment of the cause
(1) General treatment: pay attention to isolation during the onset of the disease to avoid cross-infection; bed rest, drink more water, drink liquid food.
(2) Drug treatment: interferon-alpha is usually used for treatment, which has certain anti-virus effect and enhances the ability of cells to resist infection. It can also be treated by spraying or ultrasonic nebulizing inhalation to relieve throat symptoms. 2. Symptomatic treatment: When the earache is severe, anti-inflammatory and analgesic medicines can be used to relieve the symptoms, such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen and aspirin.
