What are the causes of pelvic effusion?

Under normal circumstances, there is a small amount of pelvic fluid, and there are physiological and pathological pelvic fluid. Physiological pelvic fluid: Ultrasound shows normal sonograms of the uterus and both adnexa, and the depth of pelvic fluid is less than 2 cm, which may be due to the following reasons: (1) the peritoneum secretes a small amount of plasma, which protects the surface of the organs and reduces friction between them; (2) during ovulation, i.e., follicle rupture, a small amount of fluid around the rectal fossa of the uterus or the ovaries may be caused by the accumulation of follicular fluid after follicle rupture, or (3) Small pelvic effusion due to menstrual blood backflow after menstruation and medication abortion. Pathological pelvic fluid: (1) ectopic pregnancy rupture and corpus luteum rupture (2) pelvic inflammatory disease (3) ovarian malignancy (4) polycystic ovary syndrome (5) ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome Please determine whether it is physiological in conjunction with your other symptoms, physiological does not require treatment. As for cervicitis, you can do a gynecological examination to see if there is cervical erosion and decide if you need local treatment based on the examination results.
