How are head lines formed?

The frontalis muscle is a muscle that is vertically attached to the bone surface, with a gap in the middle. When it contracts, the skin stretches like an elastic band, and when the elastic band tightens, wrinkles come out. The frontal branch of the face, which governs the movement of the nerves, and the contraction of the muscles form the folds of the skin, which finally lead to the appearance of wrinkles. If the skin undergoes repeated contractions and remains in one position for a long time, deep indentations are formed. The most common way to deal with dynamic lines is with wrinkle injections. After Botox enters, the force of raising the eyebrows is reduced, but a certain degree of dynamism is left, achieving both expression and wrinkle reduction. If the face has formed deep indentations, the facial indentations are still very visible one or two weeks after the Botox injection. This means that the skin of the face has been folded over a long period of time and the subcutaneous fat layer has become thin and absorbed. We need to fill in the underneath of the dent to make the surface flatter and restore it to a normal state. The first one is caused by muscle movement. Young people have tighter skin, so even if they raise their eyebrows hard, wrinkles usually do not appear. The second is a certain amount of skin laxity, just like clothes that have been folded for too long, even if the clothes are unfolded, there is still a visible crease. In terms of treatment, for dynamic lines caused by muscles we have to properly reduce the muscle dynamics and perform Botox injections. For deep indentations, fillers need to be considered. If the face is too lax, you also need to consider making a coronal incision and performing a forehead lift to remove and interrupt most of the frontalis muscle and then pull the skin away. For the frontalis muscle, a partial removal is needed to keep it from further denting while maintaining a certain degree of movement. It is ideal to be able to make expressions and not to have folds.
