Is sputum after meals esophageal cancer?

Typical symptoms of esophageal cancer are progressively worsening dysphagia, food reflux, pain behind the sternum or back. When tumor cells compress the trachea or bronchus, it may cause dry cough, but rarely presents with sputum.
