Early diabetes, usually referred to as the pre-diabetic stage, is potentially curable; however, it is not curable in all people, and some people progress to diabetes gradually. Pre-diabetes is a reversible stage in which it is possible to cure through scientific and rational intervention. However, the onset of diabetes is related to a variety of factors such as obesity, poor diet, reduced physical activity, genetic factors, etc. Not all patients with early diabetes can be cured, and some people gradually progress to diabetes. For patients with pre-diabetes, intervention mainly includes lifestyle interventions such as reasonable diet, weight control, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction, appropriate exercise, and regular monitoring of blood glucose fluctuations. It is recommended that patients with early-stage diabetes seek timely medical attention and standardized treatment.
