What is the manifestation of dizziness caused by otoliths?

Patients with dizziness caused by otolaryngitis often have a triggering head position or position change, which may cause dizziness when they get up or lie down, or when they turn over to the left or right side. Some patients with severe vertigo may experience nausea and vomiting. Patients may also experience dizziness, discomfort and light-headedness between episodes of dizziness, and may experience recurrent episodes of dizziness due to changes in head position or body position.
