Pediatric Bronchitis Chinese Medicine

Pediatric bronchitis belongs to the category of “cough” in Chinese medicine, and can be treated by taking medicines, such as apricot suxan, mulberry chrysanthemum drink, clearing the qi and resolving phlegm pills, er chen tang, six gentleman’s son soup, sasanqua maitake soup, and so on. 1. Phlegm-dampness syndrome: manifested by cough with white phlegm and diluted phlegm, fatigue (dysphoria), tiredness, pale red tongue, white greasy moss, slippery pulse, etc., use Er Chen Tang. 5. Qi deficiency: manifested by weak cough, white sputum, shortness of breath and fatigue, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by sweating with slight movement), fear of cold, pale tongue, thin and feeble pulse, etc., use Six Gentlemen’s Soup. 6. Yin deficiency: manifested as dry cough with little sticky sputum, even with blood, hot flashes in the afternoon, red tongue, little moss, fine pulse (pulse becomes narrower and finer and the rate increases), etc., use Sha Shen Maidong Tang.
