The recovery time of sudden deafness treatment is mainly on the 7th-13th day, where the prognosis is better for the low-frequency declining type and worse for the total deafness and high-frequency declining type, i.e. the more severe the hearing loss, the worse the prognosis. If the sudden deafness starts with total deafness or near total deafness, the prognosis is worse, so the earlier the treatment is started, the better the prognosis. Recurrence of sudden deafness is mainly seen in the low-frequency descending type. The prognosis for patients with total deafness with vertigo is poor, and the earlier it is detected and treated, the better the outcome. If it takes more than 3 days, often the treatment has little effect, so patients with sudden deafness are advised to treat and consult early.
