The yellowing of a one-year-old baby’s teeth is in most cases a shallow caries, and a small amount of water needs to be fed after feeding to avoid milk stains remaining on the surface of the teeth, eroding them and causing yellowish patches to appear.
If a child is born in an area with a high fluoride content in the drinking water source, then be alert to the possibility of dental fluorosis in the milk teeth and it is recommended to change the drinking water as soon as possible to prevent the permanent teeth from being involved.
