1, keep the wound dressing dry and clean, after surgery need to stand to urinate, to avoid urine soaked dressing; wound generally do not need to change the medicine and remove the stitches, if the wound is wet by urine, use a hair dryer to blow hot water to dry. 2.After surgery, take oral antibiotics for 7 days as prescribed by the doctor, drink more water and urinate regularly. 3, 2 days after surgery bed rest (urination can get out of bed), 3 days after surgery can be appropriate to get out of bed activities, activities in loose soft clothing, disposable paper cups can be used to go to the bottom of the cover in the local protection, 1 month after surgery to avoid strenuous exercise. 4, from the 3rd day after surgery, with the wound dressing with 2.5% warm saline sitz bath for 30 minutes, after the wound dressing is moistened, the wound dressing will be removed, removal of penile pain and wound bleeding is normal; such as a sitz bath after the wound dressing removal difficulties, can be removed one by one after the sitz bath, available scissors to cut off the dressing loose part, do not force tearing wound dressing; but must be started in the sitz bath after 2 days If it is difficult to remove the dressing, please see the pediatric urology clinic for removal. 5.Postoperative penile pain, local swelling, yellow, gray, brown discharge or spotted blood is a common phenomenon, do not be alarmed. From the 3rd day after surgery, take 2 to 3 sitz baths with 2.5% warm saline for 20 to 30 minutes each time daily for 2 weeks to 1 month. (2.5% warm salt water preparation: 4 kg of boiling water + 1 tael of salt; temperature: boiling water drying temperature to the child’s bath water temperature, to avoid scalding). After each sitz bath, dry the perineum with a clean soft cloth and disinfect the penis and glans with Alec. The discomfort of the penis can be gradually reduced through the above treatment. 6.If the symptoms of penile discomfort do not improve after the above treatment or if there are changes in the condition (e.g. progressive bleeding from the wound, scrotal swelling and pain, difficulty in urination and other discomforts), promptly consult the emergency department of the local hospital. 7. 2 weeks after surgery, please bring your discharge certificate for review.
