What is infertility?

  (1) Anxious and nervous type: if you are unsuccessful in short-term pregnancy preparation, you suspect that you are infertile, and you go around to seek medical help, burn incense and worship Buddha, and are anxious and panic-stricken, worrying that you have problems; (2) Super calm type: you are not young and still have no pregnancy preparation plan, enjoy your life and do not talk about pregnancy. When is the best time to have a baby? What is called infertility? When do you need medical attention? Knowing the facts will help you in your medical treatment and decision making: 1. A couple who are not using contraception and have had normal sexual intercourse for at least 12 months without obtaining a clinical pregnancy. If you have never had a pregnancy and have not had a pregnancy for 12 months or more without contraception, this is called primary infertility; if you have had a history of pregnancy and have been infertile for 12 months without contraception, this is called secondary infertility. You should know: infertility is mostly a state of subfertility, unless the ovarian function is completely declined, congenital hypothalamic amenorrhea, blocked fallopian tubes and other diseases, in general infertility is not completely no chance of natural pregnancy, but only a state of subfertility, maybe one day they will get pregnant. There are so many examples of this kind of infertility, long-term infertility after adopting a child pregnant; several failed in vitro fertilization suddenly pregnant on their own; ovulation several times without pregnancy, stop but pregnant, and so on, and so on, so do not despair, active efforts, the baby will come. 2.How high is the probability of infertility? 82% of couples prepare for pregnancy for one year and conceive; 92% of couples prepare for pregnancy for two years and conceive; the total incidence of infertility is 10-12%. The incidence of infertility is very high, but there is still a chance to keep trying to conceive, but you should seek medical attention when appropriate. 3.How long do I need to be checked if I am not pregnant? <If you are <35 years old and have been trying to conceive for one year, you need to be checked for infertility; if your female partner is older than 36 years old and has been trying to conceive for 6 months, you need to be checked for infertility; if you have known diseases that may cause infertility: azoospermia, PCOS, amenorrhea, history of ovarian surgery, you need to be evaluated for fertility as early as possible. Therefore, not all people have equal chances of conceiving, and older age and diseases affect fertility, so it is important to consult a doctor promptly if you are infertile so as not to delay the time. 4. How much does age affect fertility? Seven couples between 30-34 years old have one infertility; five couples between 35-39 years old have one infertility; four couples between 40-44 years old have one infertility; after 50 years old, most women lose their fertility. The older you get, the lower your chances of conceiving, so make a fertility plan as early as possible while you enjoy life. Some things are just too good to lose! 5. Is infertility just a woman's problem? Infertility is a matter for both husband and wife; men and women have equal influence on the occurrence of infertility; men should be investigated first to find out the cause of infertility, because infertility tests should be simple before complicated, and it is more convenient for men to investigate. Conception requires both partners to provide sperm and eggs respectively, so it is wrong to investigate only the female partner or the female first for infertility.
