Can diabetes turn into uremia?

Diabetic patients with long-term poor glycemic control and complications of diabetic nephropathy may be combined with uremia. After systematic treatment, diabetic patients are usually stable and will not develop uremia. When patients are not timely treated or treated aggressively, it leads to aggravation of the condition and may induce complications such as ketoacidosis, hyperglycemic hyperosmolar coma, and diabetic nephropathy. Diabetic nephropathy is not treated in time, may induce uremia. It is recommended that diabetic patients go to regular hospitals in a timely manner, complete the relevant examinations under the guidance of the doctor, standardize the treatment, control blood glucose at a normal level and monitor blood glucose, so as to avoid delaying the condition or leading to adverse reactions.
