Be alert to five conditions for infertility etiology

Infertility occurs in approximately 8-17% of women of childbearing age. The etiology of infertility may be related to late marriage and childbearing, abortion, and sexually transmitted diseases. The common ones are ovarian infertility, vulvovaginal infertility, cervical infertility, uterine infertility, tubal infertility, chromosomal abnormalities, and immune infertility. I. Endometriosis When women find that they have clinical manifestations such as abnormal bleeding, dysmenorrhea, periodic rectal and anal swelling, accompanied by painful reactions such as back pain and painful intercourse, they should consider the possibility that they have endometriosis. This disease can cause infertility in 75% of women and should not be taken lightly. Endometrial tuberculosis The primary lesion of this disease is pulmonary tuberculosis, followed by peritoneal tuberculosis, which spreads hematogenously, invading the fallopian tubes first and then spreading to the endometrium, thus leading to infertility. In severe cases of the disease, the symptoms are obvious and are accompanied by systemic symptoms in addition to the genital lesions, and women should actively combat it. Because of the factor of getting pregnant, it is recommended that women who have the disease use herbal treatment to reduce side effects. History of appendicitis Many people do not know that appendicitis not only causes ectopic pregnancy in women in the future, but also may cause tubal obstruction due to perforated appendicitis, which in turn leads to female infertility. Therefore, this issue should be taken seriously. Multiple abortions can lead to excessive scraping of the uterus, which may involve part of the basal layer of the uterine membrane, making it difficult for the fertilized egg to be laid. Secondly, post-abortion infection can cause gynecological inflammation, which in turn affects sperm motility and survival time. These can make conception rates lower. For example, inflammation of the fallopian tubes may affect the combination of sperm and egg. The weight of a person has a lot to do with the endocrine function of the body. If a woman’s endocrine function is disturbed, it will make the muscle tend to be obese, affecting ovulation and leading to infertility. This kind of infertility is called infertility caused by phlegm and dampness obstruction in Chinese medicine. Therefore, women who are infertile for this reason can only normalize their menstruation and conceive when they control their weight and stop increasing it.
