A follow-up visit to the plastic surgery department is needed to clarify the exact cause. If it is simply a normal post-operative reaction, regular follow-up is recommended and can recover on its own, if it is due to bacterial infection and inflammation, anti-infection treatment with antibiotics needs to be considered, if it is due to an allergic reaction or rejection reaction, anti-allergy medication can be considered and a small number of patients need to have the prosthesis removed by surgery again.
