Some patients experience redness in the nasal tip area after rib cartilage rhinoplasty for a variety of reasons, the more common being inflammatory skin reactions, rejection reactions, or possibly due to irritation of the thin nasal skin by the ribs, and in some patients because of the normal manifestations of the recovery period.
