The ultimate goal of amblyopia treatment is not only to have good monocular vision but also to have a higher level of binocular vision, not just to improve vision to normal means that amblyopia treatment is over. There are two steps in amblyopia treatment: Step 1: is to simply improve the vision in one eye, because many amblyopes need to be covered so that the ability to harmonize with both eyes cannot be taken into account. The second step: after the amblyopic eye’s vision reaches normal, it exercises the coordination ability of both eyes and establishes binocular vision function, including simultaneous vision, fusion and stereo vision, especially because only with stereo vision can we have a sense of spatial distance and complete many fine movements, so it is a must to have many fine jobs.
