The elderly or young and frail, patients with dysbiosis due to antibacterial drugs, intravenous drug users, patients with diabetes, liver disease, respiratory infectious diseases, and immunocompromised patients, such as those on long-term antineoplastic drugs and those with AIDS, are prone to staphylococcal pneumonia.
