Chinese medicine is not currently able to cure cirrhosis, and hepatitis patients who want to reverse it in the early stages can only do so if they have certain treatments for the cause. Take the most common viral hepatitis in China as an example, if you want to cure cirrhosis and reverse it in the early stage, hepatitis C can be cured by using DAA drugs to cure hepatitis C and thus reverse cirrhosis. Hepatitis B is not yet curable, but can be reversed by taking antiviral drugs such as entecavir or tenofovir, which inhibit the replication of the virus. For other diseases, such as cirrhosis caused by steatohepatitis, it can be reversed by liver protection as well as diet control and weight loss. Autoimmune hepatitis cirrhosis can be alleviated in its early stages with immunosuppressants such as hormones, but it is not curable either.
