On the one hand, amblyopia treatment relies on special color scales to “wake up” the visual cells: red light with a wavelength of 640 milli-microns, polarized blue light, and posterior light with an illumination of 1000 lux. Dr. Eye’s amblyopia therapy device can provide all of these color scales. Currently, no computer software is able to produce such a standard color scale for vision enhancement. On the other hand, amblyopia augmentation also relies on having a fine icon that corresponds to normal vision: for example, a fine icon with a viewing angle of 0.1 to 1.5. Dr. Eye Amblyopia Therapy can provide all of these high-precision icons, while computer software can only provide a low-fine icon below 0.5 due to screen resolution limitations. Therefore, the software is not suitable for treating more severe amblyopia, and cannot be replaced by amblyopia software.
