In what setting should peritoneal dialysis fluid be changed?

The space needed for peritoneal dialysis fluid exchange is not large, but should be relatively self-contained, as long as you can put down a small table to set up the items and have a place to hang the peritoneal dialysis fluid. When you are at home, you can set aside a space of about 3 m2 as a regular fluid exchange area for the items needed for treatment. When you are traveling or visiting friends or family, you can also find a relatively separate and quiet area for temporary fluid changes. It should be noted that the fluid change area must be clean! The following conditions should be met: 1. Clean and dry. When changing fluids, temporarily close the fan and doors and windows to prevent dust from flying or entering the room. The desktop should be wiped clean. 2, sufficient light. Natural light source or artificial light source can be used. 3.It is recommended not to have pets at home and not to allow pets to be present during your dialysis or in the room where you place dialysis items. 4. Please do not answer the phone when changing fluids. 5.The room used for fluid exchange needs to be disinfected with ultraviolet light regularly.
