Hemiplegic walking ability scale

  Level 0: unable to stand or walk.  Level 1: Can walk indoors with the support of others for 10m or less (indoor assisted walking)  Level 2: Walk 20m indoors under the supervision of others (indoor protected walking)  Level 3: Walk independently indoors for 50m or more, and can walk up and down 18cm high steps independently for more than 2 times (indoor independent walking)  Level 4: Continuous walking for more than 100m and can cross 20cm high obstacles and go up and down 10 steps, 16cm high and 25cm wide (walking inside buildings)  Level 5: Continuous walking for more than 200m and can go up and down steps independently (16cm high, 25cm wide) walking speed of 20m/min or more (independent walking outdoors).  Note: 1.Patients can use various crutches and supports during the evaluation.  2.Walking speed from 1 to 4 is not limited.  3.Walking in buildings means that the patient has the ability to walk in hospitals, cinemas, theaters, restaurants, office buildings and buildings.  4.Patients with level 5 ability have the ability to go to the social environment, such as taking the bus, subway and crossing the road, etc.
