Pediatric pneumonia usually requires infusion of fluids for several days

Infusion therapy for pediatric pneumonia usually takes about 1 week, and up to about 2 weeks for more severe symptoms, depending on the effectiveness of the patient’s treatment and the severity of his or her condition. Pediatric pneumonia can be caused by a variety of pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses. Clinical symptoms include fever, cough, and dyspnea, and can involve the nervous and digestive systems, with diarrhea and drowsiness. Once a high fever does not subside, a hospital visit should be made promptly, usually by lung X-ray, routine blood tests, as well as sputum culture, drug sensitivity tests and other examination methods. Treatment is symptomatic, such as physical cooling, nebulized oxygen, and the selection of appropriate antibiotics based on drug sensitivity results. Since the course of treatment varies between different types of pneumonia, infusion therapy is recommended under the guidance of a physician, and the exact duration varies from person to person. In addition, during the treatment of pneumonia, it is recommended that the child eat a light diet and actively engage in physical exercise to improve the body’s immunity.
