Recurrent fever in the baby’s pharyngeal isthmus, also known clinically as herpes pharyngitis in children. The vast majority of these infections are caused by the varicella-zoster virus and are typically characterized by recurrent fever, in addition to sore throat and mucosal herpes manifestations in the isthmus. Viral infections, due to the absorption of the pathogen and the toxins produced, produce a manifestation of the so-called viremia, resulting in an increase in body temperature, usually with a reaction period of 3-5 days. During this period, the viral infection and the baby’s body resistance fight against each other, the temperature will be repeatedly unstable, it is unlikely that the fever will be normal after only one time, some may even exceed 39℃ high fever. In addition to close observation of the child’s mental condition, the main thing is to take oral non-steroidal antipyretic and analgesic drugs to reduce fever.
