Lung metastases in patients with liver cancer may cause coughing, which needs to be treated according to the patient’s metastatic condition.
For patients with liver cancer, once metastases occur, they are more likely to be pulmonary metastases, which are usually treated in two ways. The metastases are removed. This is followed by local radiation therapy or chemotherapy with intravenous infusion of chemotherapy drugs. If the patient is found to have metastasis in the lung and has not undergone surgery after the discovery of liver cancer, then surgery is not recommended. Then, the application of chemotherapy or radiotherapy will be judged according to the results of the examination. In addition, the corresponding treatment is different for different sites of primary tumor and metastases. If the number of lung metastases is small and the size is small, it usually will not cause symptoms. However, when the number of lung metastases is high, diffuse growth or metastases are large, they will cause symptoms such as chest pain, cough and fever.
