Then again, for etiology, viral infections account for a large part of the disease, and taking antibiotics is not very effective and induces resistance, so don’t use antibiotics easily just because of high temperature. You can take ibuprofen or acetaminophen to reduce the fever, and drink more water after taking the medicine to help the temperature drop. You can give your child adequate physical cooling by using warm water wipes or even baths, and reduce or open clothes appropriately for your baby to help the group dissipate heat. If high fever persists, it is still advisable to consult a hospital because, after all, some of the children inside have serious febrile illnesses that require further close observation and treatment. All of the above are emergency measures that can be done at home, but it is best to take your baby to the hospital as soon as possible to receive a formal examination to identify the cause of the fever and cure the root cause.
