How long does it take for the fetus to be born after it goes into labor

In late pregnancy, the fetus may be delivered within 2-3 weeks after pelvic entry. The isthmus of the uterus is gradually stretched as the pregnancy progresses, forming the lower segment of the uterus as part of the uterine cavity at the end of pregnancy. The fetus grows gradually in the uterine cavity, and the lowest point of the fetal previa is above the pelvic level before it enters the pelvis. With the formation of the lower uterine segment, the fetal previa gradually descends into the pelvic cavity, which is what we call pelvic entry, and usually occurs around 37-38 weeks of gestation. After the fetus enters the pelvis, the previa and the amniotic fluid sac in front of it will squeeze the cervix, which will gradually flatten out and make the cervical canal disappear in 2-3 weeks, and the perinatal period will have already entered, and there may be regular contractions, rupture of fetal membranes and other birth auguries. In addition, the time of fetal insertion is closely related to the size of the fetus and the size of the mother’s pelvis. If the fetus is huge in the first part of the dewlap or the mother has a narrow pelvis, it is likely to have difficulty in entering the pelvis, and this type of women needs to end the delivery by cesarean section.
