What are the symptoms of internal haemorrhoids with blood in the stool?

Internal haemorrhoids usually do not cause pain or discomfort when they bleed in the stool and are usually bright red in colour. Bleeding from internal haemorrhoids can manifest itself as blood wiping after a stool, dripping after a stool and stopping on its own afterwards. Bleeding from internal haemorrhoids is usually intermittent and is often triggered by dry stools, fatigue, alcohol consumption and spicy irritating foods. The bleeding may cause anaemia if the amount of bleeding is high.
