Is high thyroglobulin antibody cancer?

Whether high thyroglobulin antibodies are cancer or not requires specific analysis and cannot be generalized. It is recommended to seek timely medical examination to clarify the cause and take appropriate measures. High thyroglobulin antibodies are usually seen in thyroiditis or autoimmune diseases such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. It is recommended that patients go to the general surgery department of a regular hospital to improve other tests of the thyroid gland and assess thyroid function. If no significant abnormalities are seen, the patient can be temporarily observed or treated with medications such as eugenol. If the patient’s ultrasound results show a swelling in his or her thyroid gland with a hard texture and unequal surface, it is considered to be a possible cancer and the next treatment plan needs to be formulated according to the patient’s specific situation under the guidance of a professional doctor. In addition, patients are advised to regularly monitor thyroid function, reasonably adjust their work and rest, eat regularly and avoid straining.
