Cat scratched skin to be injected?

The need for an injection for skin scratched by a cat cannot be generalized and should be analyzed according to the specific condition. Cats, too, can carry rabies virus, and rabies can be transmitted through body fluids. Therefore, if a person is scratched by a cat and is not bleeding, alcohol can be used to disinfect the wound and continue to observe the wound, in which case there is generally no need for an injection. If the skin is scratched by a cat and bleeding, this situation must be rabies vaccination. If the scratch is more serious, the injured person needs to go to a hospital for general surgery to be treated, have the wound observed by a doctor, and receive a rabies vaccination. Patients who are injected with rabies vaccine should pay attention to quitting smoking and alcohol, and strictly follow the injection process and interval to avoid affecting the immunization effect of the vaccine.
