Are there targeted drugs for ventricular tubular tumors?

For the time being, there is no targeted drug for ventricular tumor, and surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the mainstay of treatment. Ventricular canal tumor is a kind of low malignant central nervous system tumor, which mostly appears in the ventricles of the brain, central canal of the spinal cord and other parts of the brain, although the growth is slow, but the location is more special, so it is easy to appear life-threatening, at present, the main means of treatment are surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and so on, but there is no targeted therapeutic drugs. Generally, after the discovery of ventricular tumor, surgery is needed to remove the tumor lesion in time. Chemotherapy is one of the adjuvant treatments to control tumor growth in the short term. If the tumor cannot be removed cleanly by surgery, postoperative radio therapy is also needed. Radiotherapy is also recommended for patients who have polymorphic changes in the nuclei of the tumor cells, or who have mixed ventricular meningiomas – subventricular ventricular meningiomas. Patients are advised to go to the hospital to receive standardized treatment and do not blindly use drugs on their own.
