There is no clear correlation between high blood pressure and uterine thickening in the elderly. High blood pressure in the elderly is mainly related to genetic and environmental factors, while endometrial thickening mostly leads to endometrial hyperplasia, endometrial polyps, and endometrial cancer. There is no cross correlation between the two. 1. Factors related to the development of hypertension: (1) Hypertension is genetically related with obvious family aggregation, about 60% of hypertensive patients have family history of hypertension. (2) Hypertension is related to the environment, (1) China’s hypertension is mainly salt-sensitive hypertension, (2) occupations with high mental stress are more likely to suffer from hypertension, (3) smoking groups are more likely to suffer from hypertension. (3) Hypertension is related to other factors, such as the higher prevalence of obesity, the use of contraceptives, ephedrine, licorice and other drugs will also increase blood pressure, sleep apnea syndrome, 50% of the people with elevated blood pressure. 2. Endometrial thickening is mostly seen in endometrial hyperplasia, endometrial polyps, endometrial cancer and so on. (1) Endometrial hyperplasia is mainly caused by long-term stimulation of endometrial hyperplasia by estrogen and lack of progesterone. (2) Endometrial polyps: caused by excessive proliferation of uterine glands and mesenchyme. (3) Endometrial cancer: malignant tumors on the endometrium cause thickening of the endometrium. Consult the doctor promptly if you feel unwell.
