Whether or not a farsighted patient needs laser surgery needs to be determined by the condition. If the patient has mild farsightedness, laser or other treatments are usually not needed because the eye itself is self-regulating. However, if the patient is under the age of 18, he/she will need to wear frames or contact lenses to improve his/her vision.
If the patient is over 18 years old, he can be treated by laser surgery such as excimer laser corneal surface chipping, excimer laser flap keratomileusis, excimer laser in situ keratomileusis, etc. The patient is advised to consult a doctor in time if he is suffering from hyperopia.
It is recommended that patients with hyperopia need to consult a doctor in a timely manner, and the doctor will determine whether or not laser surgery can be performed based on the severity of the patient’s condition.
