The symptoms of chest tightness and shortness of breath will occur in patients who stay up late because the sympathetic nerve tone increases when they stay up late. When the sympathetic nerve is overexcited, patients will experience faster heart rate, increased myocardial contraction, increased cardiac conduction velocity, and increased oxygen consumption of the heart. Patients who stay up late often also cause activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system in the body, and when the secretion of aldosterone increases, patients will experience blood pressure fluctuation and increase in blood pressure, which will further lead to symptoms of chest tightness, shortness of breath, palpitations and anterior heart discomfort when blood pressure is unstable. Patients who stay up late often also cause deactivation of the nervous, humoral and endocrine systems, which in this case may also lead to clinical symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath and neurological disorders.
