Recently, the orthopaedic group of children’s surgery in Ganzhou Women’s and Children’s Health Hospital successfully operated on a child with postoperative supracondylar humerus fracture complicated by ossifying myositis under the guidance of Professor Chen Qiu from Xinhua Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University, a nationally renowned expert in pediatric orthopaedics, and the child recovered well after surgery. The patient was 7 years old and suffered a supracondylar fracture of the right humerus 14 months ago due to an accidental trauma. The child’s parents heard that a doctor had studied in the pediatric orthopedics department of Xinhua Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University and brought the child to the hospital with the intention of giving it a try.
